JaRa 2108D photoelectric isolation lightning protection RS485 repeater

The Jerry 2108 series repeater can amplify and enhance the existing RS-485 signal, which can extend the signal by 4000 feet (1200 meters) or add 32 connection points. The product adopts professional I/O circuit, which can automatically detect the direction of data flow and switch the direction of data transmission. An RS-485 network can be easily formed with only a pair of twisted-pair wires, and it can be used directly without handshaking signals and changing the software and hardware of the connected equipment.

Jierui MODEL 2108 series products are high-performance RS485 optical isolation repeaters specially launched by Jierui Company for industrial applications. Adopting Jierui industrial modular design, it supports multiple installation methods such as wall-mounted installation, panel installation, stacking installation, and industrial rail-mounted installation. The RS485 terminal has double anti-static and anti-surge functions, and at the same time adopts external power isolation and 485 terminal photoelectric isolation. The 2108 repeater can be used as a 485 photoelectric isolator at the same time, providing photoelectric isolation protection for the 485 devices at both ends.

◆The interface standard complies with the RS485 standard of EIA/TIA. The
transmission medium is ordinary twisted pair.
Each additional repeater in the transmission distance can extend your 485 network by 1200m. The
communication rate is 300---115200bps. The

*2108S is a RS-485 repeater with single-ended photoelectric isolation and surge protection.
*2108D is a RS-485 repeater with double-ended photoelectric isolation and surge protection.

The external power supply of the 2108S/D is designed to be provided from both ends, that is, the +8VDC～+30VDC DC power supply can be connected to any end of the 2108S/D. The power ground (GND) at both ends is connected, but the power VPP at both ends is blocked.
